Welcome to our club website!
The
object of the Club is to encourage the sound breeding, exhibiting and well-being
of Airedale Terriers in the West Country and South Wales.
The club holds an annual Fun Day usually during September, an Open Show in
February and a Championship Show in November. One and sometimes two walks are
organised where Airedales and humans alike can gather to enjoy each other’s
company. Details of these can be found on this website.
Trimming classes are also held to help Airedale owners to learn the art of hand stripping their dog. These are friendly informal occasions with time for a chat and refreshments whilst the dogs get to know one another. Contact Ruth Millar on 01278 641190 for classes held in Winscombe, Somerset .
The club’s magazine, “Airedales West” is produced four times per year and distributed to all members. Contributions are always welcomed by the Editor (Paul McCarthy):
